thought i’d post this review that i’d written about a gig i went to last week as i’m fairly sure that it’s not going to get published for leeds guide(!). too mean spirited i’m told, and on reflection it is a bit negative…though if you’d been there you’d know that i’m right on this one!

sorry for banging on about this over and over again but this was probably one of the best nights of my life. my transformation from single mum and work-shy depressive to performing as my hero - mr freddie mercury - on stage was about 4 weeks in the making: learning the words, watching the videos, getting in shape, working the moves, buying the clothes, dress rehearsal and sound checking, karaoke...
